June and Jennifer Gibbons were born in 1963 and became known as the "Silent Twins" due to their strange and unique communication. They were extremely isolated and developed a language only they were able to understand. The twins were expressing bizarre and often criminal behavior that led to their institutionalization in Broadmoor Hospital. They firmly believed that one had to die for the other to live a normal life. In 1993, shortly after their release, Jennifer suddenly passed away of acute myocarditis (inflammation of the heart), allowing June to live independently thereafter.

The Voynich Manuscript is named after Wilfrid Voynich who purchased it in 1912 and it dates back to the 15th century. The manuscript contains illustrations of astrological symbols, unknown plants and human figures, all accompanied by text in a mysterious and indecipherable script. Despite deep study by cryptographers, including codebreakers from both World War I and II, the manuscript's language and purpose remain a mystery. Some people believe it to be a hoax, while others think it could be a complex code or a language yet to be discovered.

Charles Peck died in a tragic Metrolink train crash on September 12, 2008. Over the next 11 hours, his family, fiancée, and friends received calls from his phone, though there was only static on the other end. The calls led rescuers to his body, which was pinned in the wreckage. The phone was never found, and the source of the calls still remains unexplained, leading to speculation about paranormal activity.

The tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, discovered by Howard Carter in 1922, is believed to be cursed. Lord Carnarvon, who financed the expedition, died from an infected mosquito bite, shortly after its opening, fueling rumors of a curse. Several other people involved in the discovery also died under mysterious circumstances. While many deaths can be attributed to natural causes, the coincidence of their timing has led to lasting superstitions about the curse of the pharaohs.

Off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada, lies Oak Island, home to the infamous "Money Pit." Discovered in 1795 by Daniel McGinnis, this deep shaft has intrigued treasure hunters for over 200 years. Excavators have found mysterious artifacts and wooden platforms, but their efforts are constantly thwarted by flooding tunnels.

Theories about the pit's contents range from pirate treasure to the Holy Grail, but despite numerous expeditions and millions of dollars spent, the true purpose and treasure of the Money Pit remain undiscovered. The Oak Island Mystery continues to captivate and baffle those who seek its secrets.

These entities are often described as brief and menacing, instilling a sense of horror in witnesses. While some attribute shadow people to hallucinations caused by sleep disorders, others believe they are supernatural beings. The phenomenon has been part of folklore and paranormal research for many decades, without consensus on their nature.
